It is often said that appointing a CEO is the most important decision a board will ever make. Being well-prepared for any Chief Executive transition is a vital focus for any board and we are highly experienced at supporting directors through these processes.

Our efforts on behalf of boards can tilt towards internal succession planning or towards the external market, depending on the circumstances. Typically, deep assessment of leadership capability in the organisation against a Chief Executive job description for the future will be the starting point of any exercise. The board can then progress knowing the "bench-strength" within the business.
